Penicillin

Flucloxacillin
Flucloxacillin is recommended in the treatment of infections due to penicillinase-producing Staphylococci: as in skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections and other generalised infections. Flucloxacillin is available in the following forms.
Cloxacillin
Cloxacillin is an isoxazolyl penicillin used similarly to flucloxacillin in the treatment of infections due to staphylococci resistant to benzylpencillin. Cloxacillin is available in the following forms.
Trimoptin
Trimethoprim is recommended in the treatment of susceptible infections caused by trimethoprim sensitive organisms including most gram-positive and gram-negative aerobic organisms, including Haemophillus influenza, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Klebsiella pnumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Enterobacter, Proteus and Streptococcus faecalis.
